Desert Mission United Methodist Church announces events schedule

Women with Spirit meets every Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. in Kashman’s Deli at the Summit in North Scottsdale. All women are invited to enjoy coffee and conversation.

 Men’s Breakfast meets every Saturday at 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at The Good Egg at Terravita Shopping Center in North Scottsdale. This gathering offers devotions, discussion and fellowship.

Children’s Bible camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 27 at Bella Vista Private School, 6914 E. Bella Vista Rd. in Cave Creek. Children will enjoy a fun time of stories, song, games and crafts. All children are invited to attend. The cost is $5 to cover materials and snacks. Youth Bible study will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 27 at Bella Vista Private School, 6914 E. Bella Vista Rd. in Cave Creek. This study will continue on Sundays at 11:00 a.m.  Bring a friend or neighbor. The cost for this first one will be $5 to cover materials and snacks. Megan Reilly piano recital on Jan. 27 at 5 p.m. The concert will take place in the Chapel of Bella Vista Private School, 6914 E. Bella Vista Rd. in Cave Creek. She will play selections from Mozart, Bach, Chopin, and favorite arrangements of hymns. Donations will be taken to benefit Desert Mission United Methodist Church. A reception will follow. 

Youth talent show to be held on Feb. 11 in the chapel at Bella Vista Private School. We ask a donation from participants and spectators to help raise money for the Desert Mission United Methodist Church budget. Refreshments will be served.
