Own a little piece of paradise in Cave Creek
All you have to do is bring your suitcase.

Everything else is right there at the new Cave Creek Resort & Casitas, a premiere condo hotel currently under development by Cave Creek Resorts LLC, Point of View Developments USA and Cave Creek Project LLLP.

“There is a high demand for vacation destinations in the North Valley,” says Shannon Martinson, project manager. “We feel that with the amount of tourists and all the activities in Cave Creek, we are offering the perfect product.”

The “perfect product” is a hassle‑free resort complex offering buyers a 1,485‑square‑foot, completely furnished, vacation hideaway with all of the amenities of a five star resort.

“We just received the final plat on the project,” Martinson says. “It enables us to move ahead with the public report, which tells the public exactly what our plans for the environment are and the impact the project will have on the community.”

Upon completion, the complex will house more than 200 casitas, featuring privileges at three nearby golf courses–Rancho Manana Golf Course, Troon North Golf Club and Grayhawk. There will be an on‑site water park and restaurant, as well as  hiking and biking trails. Visitors can enjoy easy access to the many Cave Creek retail shops and eateries within walking distance of the complex.

Located on 20 acres just north of Cave Creek Road on Schoolhouse Road, estimated time of completion of Phase 1 is spring 2008.

“It looks like we are going to break ground in May,” Martinson said. “We’ve been working seven days a week getting things ready. There is a lot of international advertising being done which, in the long run, is good for the development and the community.

“Cave Creek is such a walkable town,” Martinson says. “This will allow our owners or renters a chance to get out and enjoy the retail establishments within easy walking distance.

“The retail community has been very supportive of the new project. They say it will bring more revenue and more volume to their businesses.”

The developers have taken great pains to ensure that their project blends in with the existing landscape around Cave Creek.

“The driveways and walkways will all be crushed granite,” Martinson explains. “There won’t be a bunch of concrete. The condos will be Santa Fe style buildings. We’re going to leave as much of the environment as possible in its natural state.”

Owners will have the option to rent their homes to other tenants when they are not using the property.

“It’s an opportunity for owners to subsidize their purchases,” Martinson says. “The management will take care of the business aspect of the rental. You don’t have to do anything. There is even an owner’s closet where you can leave your golf clubs, bathing suit, or whatever you might need for your next stay. All you do is lock it up and it’ll be there when you come back.

“We can’t guarantee the rental rates, but the surrounding resorts have a lot of activity. Lots of people are taking advantage of the concept. Reservations are going very quickly. Interest has been very strong, and our Web activity has been amazing. People have shown an incredible amount of interest.”

Another feature is the two‑year resort to resort option. This homeowner exchange program gives you access to more than 150 vacation homes in favorite vacations spots around the country. All you have to do is deposit time in your resort to resort account and you will be able to reserve an equivalent amount of time in another resort destination.

Sounds like fun. All you have to do is pick your destination.

Phase I will see 72 units open with a full staff ready to make your visit one to   remember.

“All you have to do is bring your suitcase and yourself,” Martinson says. “Everything you need is right there. You can even call ahead to the concierge service and they will stock your refrigerator or pantry for you. During your stay, housekeeping will clean your room and change your linen. The concierge will arrange your tee times and provide transportation to the golf course for you.

“There is just so much going on in the North Scottsdale and Cave Creek areas. Your equity is there. You own the condo. The opportunities are endless.”

The hotel/condo concept has caught on rapidly in bigger‑destination cities like Las Vegas.

“It’s really big in Vegas,” Martinson says. “People like it because the city is always going like crazy. What makes our product different, is some people don’t want nightlife when they’re on vacation. They want a peaceful, laid‑back destination.”

Cave Creek Resorts & Casitas offers a lifetime warranty on units.

“It’s part of your HOA package,” she says. “If a tile cracks or something needs repainting, we’ll fix it. It’s run like a five star resort. And to be a five star resort, it has to be immaculate. Your home will always be brand new.

“If the resort rents it for you and something gets damaged, it’s fixed. It takes the worry out of screening renters,” Martinson adds. “Or you can rent it yourself.

“In our eyes, it’s the most logical way to manage your property.”

Now is a good time to reserve your place in paradise.

“It’s a great opportunity,” Martinson says. “We’re offering special Phase 1 pricing. Buyers will get a 50 percent discount on their HOA fees for one full year and we’re offering pre‑construction pricing.

“It’s the perfect product for seasonal visitors, providing them with a seasonal home and a hassle‑free rental program to help subsidize their purchase. We’re also offering incentive packages for real estate brokers and buyers. You can’t go wrong.”
