Ed
Morgan recommends seven council candidates
After
reading the Sonoran News editor’s pick
of four candidates who are opposed to
positive development on properly zoned
land and have been obstructionists to
fire protection plans contributing to
the health safety and welfare of our
citizens, I feel compelled to share
some thoughts.
The
four recommended include: One who has
frivolously sued our town three times
and lost; one who was removed from office;
one who claims to be a watchdog and
is actually an uninformed and poorly
advised obstructionist; and one who
offers only innuendo and anger, and
no solutions.
The
candidates I recommend to you are Fulcher,
Gardner, Gemmill, Hayward, Meyer, Miller
and Schwan. These are seven people who
have made positive contributions to
our town and are of substantial character
you can trust to do the right
thing.
They
have defended our zoning. They have
secured a safe, pure water supply. They
have created programs to improve our
infrastructure. They are involved in
our community and organizations which
benefit others. They have moved forward
on health, safety and welfare issues
and protected our property values. Capital
projects have been completed with no
bond issues, no property tax and no
debt.
The
seven I have listed above are worthy
of your
vote.
