Booze and bikers?

I was reading the Feb. 21 issue and noticed the article about one person killed in a motorcycle crash. The police said alcohol may be a factor in the crash and that an investigation is continuing.

Well, I was up in Cave Creek on Saturday as well and came back about 5 p.m. Me and my wife were on our bike and went up there for lunch and the arts and craft show. I noticed on the way up there that I had to stay in the center or the outside of the lane because of branches sticking out from the trees. When we came back, there was the same problem, so I rode in the outside lane because the sun was bright and I didn’t want to get hit by a branch I couldn’t see.

Maybe the police should be looking at the public works department or whoever is responsible for trimming those trees rather than saying alcohol may be a factor. Sometimes the police are a little too quick to determine bikers and booze go together.
