Ti
Amo closes doors for good

CAVE
CREEK – Citing a continuing tenant/landlord dispute, the popular
Ti Amo Restaurant has closed its doors.
Embroiled
in a legal battle and reeling from a sale of the trendy restaurant
that fell through, Ti Amo's owners removed equipment and furnishings
from the premises Feb. 26th.
An
attempt to sell the business recently was rejected by the
owner of The Shoppes at the Creek, where the restaurant is
located, and contributed to the decision to close, said Ray
Soyular, co‑owner of Ti Amo.
Soyular
said he and his partners are tired of fighting with the landlord
and are calling it quits. He mentioned other factors in the
decision to close but declined to elaborate.
Richard
Mellen, property manager for Petree Shoppes at the Creek LLC,
declined comment on the closing, citing pending litigation
with Ti Amo’s owners.
