Maricopa Democrats meet
Jim
Larsen, local businessman and former candidate
for the Arizona State Senate, will address
the North Maricopa Democrats. The club will
hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, April
11, at 7 p.m. at the Boulder Creek High School
library located at 40410 Gavilan Peak Parkway
in Anthem.
Take

Democrats, discuss issues, and learn how we
can make a positive impact in our state and

Daisy
Mountain Fire Department holds disaster training
workshop
Community
Emergency Response Training (CERT) will be
held 7-10 p.m. for eight consecutive Thursdays
beginning on April 5 at DMFD Station No. 141,
43814 New River Road. at Circle
Mountain Road.
The
classes, sponsored by Homeland Security and
taught by DMFD twice a year, are free. A certificate
is given for those who attend the entire workshop.

Easter
Services
North
Ridge Community Church, 6363 E. Dynamite Blvd.,
will have its choir and orchestra perform
at 7:30 and 9 a.m. The Student Service is
scheduled for 10:45 a.m., as are the Contemporary
Rock and Coffee House services.
The
Desert Mission United Methodist Church will
be performing a Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m.
at the Carefree Sundial. The service includes
worship, music and a Flowering of the Cross.
Seating will be provided. Easter services
also will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
at The Chapel at
Bella Vista Private School. Those services
will include music, worship and open Communion.
Scottsdale
First Assembly Dream Center Pastor David Friend
and the drama department will present “The
Miracle of Easter.” This presentation will
take place at both the 9 and 10:45 a.m. services.
There also will be a special Easter Sunrise
Service at
6 a.m.
