The
victory was a boost to the Eagles, who had lost their first two
region games to Mountain Ridge in mid March. Kaleigh Sorce went
3 for 3 and Kirsten Linert was the winning pitcher with 13 strikeouts.
O'Connor
was trying to build on the win with two games against Boulder Creek
and one against Deer Valley this week. The first ever varsity games
against Boulder Creek will be a home and home series with the Eagles
scheduled to host April 4. The April 7 game is at Boulder Creek.
O'Connor (9 8 1 overall) will also host Deer Valley April 5. First
pitch is 3:45 p.m. for all games. |
