Where did the ‘Gate’ go?

Did I miss something? Why is the access gate between Desert Hills and Anthem on Desert Hills Drive open all the time? Surely school buses aren’t using it Sunday mornings at 6:30 a.m. and evenings at 7:30.

I guess all the hoopla died down and the soccer moms got their way. Just goes to show you, minority rules.

Editor’s Note: “The Gate” has been out of service due to damage most likely suffered when it was “accidentally” run into, but MCDOT says a new sliding gate, purchased by the county, is “in town.” An installation date is not yet known.
