On
behalf of the Black Mountain Conservancy, I would
like to thank Carefree Mayor Ed Morgan for his
many years of selfless service to our community.
He has discharged his duties as a member of council,
and then as a multiple term mayor, with intelligence,
thoughtfulness, and consistent grace under pressure.
Over the years, his support of BMC’s effort to
preserve our beautiful Black Mountain has been
unwavering. We truly appreciate this and we wish
him all the best in his “retirement.”
I
am sorry that I was not present at the May council
meeting. I had been planning to express these
sentiments during Call to the Public but had a
medical problem arise, and needed to take care
of my parents.
