Elegance rules at The Elegant Saddle

Some days folks just feel like being pampered. They worked for it. They earned it. They deserve it.

The Elegant Saddle Salon & Day Spa is the right destination if you want to relax and let the highly trained professionals make you look and feel like a million dollars.

With a recent complete refurbishing and change of ownership, The Elegant Saddle offers first‑class service to all of its friends and neighbors–including the gents.

New owners Cyndee (mom) and Barbara Bezik have assembled an experienced staff, dedicated to style and professionalism in the hair and skin care industry.

The new interior is open and inviting, reflecting Cyndee’s touch as an interior designer. Elegant Interiors will soon open across from The Elegant Saddle on the second floor of the Shops at the Creek on Cave Creek Road.

“The name says it all,” Cyndee says. “I try to strive for the elegant, high‑end look in my interiors, as opposed to a contemporary look.

“We saw a need for an upscale, full‑service salon and day spa in Cave Creek. We’ve always liked the Cave Creek area because we’re horse lovers. We love the ambience. That’s what drew us to Arizona in the first place.”

Co‑owner/stylist Barbara has seven years in the business and says Cave Creek is the perfect place to be.

“I’ve always loved Cave Creek because it’s one of the last places I Arizona that’s truly rustic,” she says. “It’s still got that Old West feel. We love it here. Plus, this is the best location in town because of the elevation and the underground parking. And, it has an elevator for the handicapped.”

In addition to haircuts, The Elegant Saddle offers all types of makeup applications, hair coloring and styling, nail treatments, manicures, pedicures and massages to relax and soothe.

“We have well‑trained, licensed massage therapists who do deep tissue and hot stone as well as maternity, Swedish, therapeutic and aromatherapy massages,” Barbara says. “And we’ll be doing romantic massages for couples under the stars with champagne and strawberries on our patio with a beautiful view of the mountains.”

Men are always welcome at The Elegant Saddle, Barbara says.

“They don’t need to feel intimidated coming in,” she says. “Just dust off those boots and come in and treat yourself to a facial and a pedicure. You’re going to get the ‘Wow!’ experience here.”

The Elegant Saddle staff uses only top‑of‑the‑line hair and skin care products to enhance and prolong your chosen look.

“All of the girls here are extremely well qualified in all of our color lines and products we use,” Barbara says.

“We use Tocco Magico hair care products. It’s an exclusive Italian line that only a handful of salons in Arizona carry.”

Tocco Magico’s products are made to fulfill the technical needs of hair colorists and stylists while protecting the natural structure of the hair and scalp. They have provided innovative products to hairdressers worldwide, using only high quality materials, modern production, and strict quality control methods.

“We also use a high‑end, French makeup line,” Barbara says. “It’s called Fleur’s and lasts all day as well as offering good protection from the sun’s damaging rays.”

Fleur’s is rich in floral extracts, essential oils and other natural ingredients. Fleur’s skin care products revitalize the skin and help to address a wide array of skin concerns, while its cosmetics go beyond traditional makeup to nourish and strengthen the skin.

For those who would like lower maintenance and a long‑lasting look, The Elegant Saddle can apply permanent makeup.

“It’s painless, permanent makeup,” Barbara says. “We can do eyebrows, eyeliner and lips.”

To inject life back into those tired feet after a long day, The Elegant Saddle employs unusual pedicure chairs in which to relax.

“They’re unique boulder‑shaped massaging chairs,” Barbara says. “They’re fiber‑optic equipped, so the water your soaking your feet in changes colors. It’s very relaxing.”

On the rare occasion you have to wait, try perusing the Buck Off Boutique in the rear of the salon featuring fashion jewelry, purses and unique, one‑of‑a‑kind gift or personal items.
