Desert Elite kicks up talent

The Desert Elite Program is looking for interested soccer players for this year’s developmental (Desert Fire) or competitive and premiere (Desert Elite) teams.

From May 12‑14, June 2‑4 and June 23‑25, the Desert Elite will hold tryouts at Desert Willow Park in Tatum Ranch.

All teams are under direction of the DFSC Pro Training Staff, which consists of six full‑time members and four part‑time professionals. Teams typically practice on fields throughout the northeast Phoenix, north of Bell Road.

The program begins with the U‑8 Junior Elite program and supports all ages up to U‑18 teams.

Visit the Desert Elite Program Web site for specific tryout dates, times and locations at www.desertelitesoccer.com.

Soccer registration has four more dates available

General registration dates for all Desert Foothills Soccer Programs are May 10 and 20 with late registration dates scheduled for June 17 and July 22.

The internal recreational league will host the U‑4 Soccer‑Tots Academy, as well as leagues for U‑7/8B, U‑7/8G, U‑9/10B, U‑9/10G, U‑11/12B and U‑11/12G.
