Developer Niche Residential has finally passed GO and will collect $200 (and then some!) as they redeemed their COMMUNITY CHEST card and began demolition of the “Monopoly Houses” on the 11‑acre Village at Surrey Hills residential development site at the southwest corner of the GAMEBOARD (Cave Creek Road and Surrey Hills Drive). No MOTELS are planned, but designs call for 13 buildings, each comprising three or four attached two‑story condominiums. The “Monopoly Houses” (top) coming down at 12:40 p.m. on May 9; (bottom) the way they stood on Jan 12.
