Kindergarten teacher stands above the crowd

Anthem is home to Pattee Folkman, a special teacher who teaches at Fellowship school. She is the lead kindergarten teacher and my daughter, Antonella Hoffecker, is one of her students.

I had heard great things about Pattee before enrolling Antonella in Pattee’s class, but what I experienced greatly exceeded my expectations. What impressed me the most was simple act with profound benefits ¼ Pattee cares. Each and every student that walks through Pattee’s door gets special attention, adding a tremendously positive impact on the kids. In addition, Pattee strives to be the best at what she does every single day. If she was having a bad day, as we all do from time to time, the kids and I were unaware.

In what I am certain is an under‑paid, underappreciated vocation, Pattee is a teacher who stands above the crowd and makes me grateful that individuals like her are setting the standard for excellence in teaching.

Thank you Pattee, the team at Fellowship, and all teachers for another excellent school year. Have a great summer–you all deserve it!
