DESERT
HILLS – About a dozen horses, burros and goats were taken
by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for safekeeping
after allegations of animal cruelty arose last weekend
regarding a Desert Hills resident.
The
animals’ owner remains unidentified at press time pending
charges, but the address was given as North 19th Street
and Primarosa Path. According to a MCSO press release,
animals on the property were found without food, water,
or shade.
