Music
in May comes to a close

ANTHEM
‑ Music in May will be wrapping up with two remaining free
concerts to be held at the Anthem Community Park Amphitheater
and a performance by the Phoenix Symphony at the
stadium.
Tumbleweed
Junction will take the stage on Friday, May 19, at 7 p.m. Styles
ranging from country music to southern and classic rock prove
this band’s versatility to be one of its strengths. Their repertoire
includes covers as well as original songs.
The
Pete Pancrazi Trio will offer their original compositions along
with Latin jazz standards at
7 p.m. May 20. With Pete’s
nimble guitar work and warm vocals,
the Trio is sure to delight.
The
Phoenix Symphony, under the direction of guest conductor Keith
Brion, will perform music in a patriotic theme. ProMusica Arizona
Chorale will open the concert at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for this event
are $25 each (four for $80) for reserved seating, and $18 for
lawn seating (bring your own blankets and chairs). Lawn seating
for children under 12 is free. Food, beer, and wine will be available
for purchase; no outside alcohol is permitted. A fireworks display
will follow the performance. Tickets can be purchased at the Anthem
