Trauma goes beyond loss of personal property

NEW
RIVER – Joe Bruglio reports having seen kids on his property earlier
in the afternoon.
“There’s
usually kids around here riding four‑wheelers,” he said.
Bruglio thinks they might have been the individuals who robbed
his home on Sunday.
At
the time of the theft, the Bruglio residence contained a reported
$91,000 worth of jewelry; the thieves took it all. “They also
got one of my guns,” the homeowner related. “Luckily, I got rid
of the other guns in the house.” Among valuable items left behind
were what Bruglio describes as “expensive figurines.”
Bruglio
says the theft has made his wife extremely nervous and afraid
the thieves might return.
“She’s
scared to death,” Bruglio said. “I have to leave the lights on
at night.”
A
$1,000 reward is offered for any information pertaining to the
robbery. Call Joe Bruglio at (623)826‑9401.
