Bailey, Principal, Cactus Shadows High School
By
any standard , the Cactus Shadows High School Class of 2006
has earned an impressive array of honors, and I will submit
that anyone who wishes to accuse public education has not
looked closely at this group of young people.
Collectively, they have earned a total of well over
120 scholarships and counting, totaling close to $3.2 million.
Perhaps most compelling is that well over 25 percent of
our graduates have
received scholarships to continue their education.
However,
the hallmark of this class will be their unselfish commitment
to community service – in
excess of 5,000 hours during their high school experience.
There
have been many academic, athletic, musical, artistic and
various other achievements as a direct result of the collective
efforts of the Cactus Shadows Class of 2006, and we celebrate
their accomplishments!
