Flags for the fallen decorate the desert in remembrance

Monday, May 29, included a 21‑gun salute, “Taps” played by the 108th Army Band of the

Arizona Army National Guard, a proclamation delivered by Gov. Janet Napolitano and the laying of the wreaths by various local veterans’ groups in honor of fallen soldiers.
