I
have recently heard that there may be an undisclosed
amenity in the Anthem Community Park.
It
is believed that antennas for the conduction of
cell phone transmissions (sending and receiving)
have been installed high in the air on the light
poles surrounding the sports fields.
Many
areas of the country have prohibited cell phone
antennas near schools due to safety reasons. It
is felt that current studies will take years to
analyze as to the long‑term effects,
especially
on children. Money is probably being made by someone,
but what could be the price for residents in the
long run?
I
wonder if cell phone antennas were included in the
Anthem Master Plan. Who knows?
