Lopez
chosen as Cave Creek vice mayor

CAVE
CREEK – Councilman Gil Lopez was chosen by a
unanimous vote Monday as Cave Creek’s new vice
mayor.
Lopez
was nominated for the post by Councilman and
former Vice Mayor Dick Esser.
“I
think his record speaks for itself,” said Esser.
“Personally, I think the next two years will
serve to shape the future of Cave Creek for
quite some time.”
No
other nominations were put forward and, there
being no discussion, the roll was called.
The
council meeting adjourned immediately after the
vote, and those in attendance were invited to
stay for refreshments. |
