CAVE
CREEK – Two Carefree brothers each pleaded not guilty to one
count of aggravated assault, a class four felony, during an
arraignment in the Superior Court of Arizona, Maricopa County,
on May 31. The charges stem from an incident at Harold’s Cave
Creek Corral early Saturday morning, April 1. Both remain free
on bond.
Charles
Richard “CR” Duley, 25, and Jay David Duley, 23, will appear
before Commissioner David Cunanan at an initial pre‑trial
hearing on Thursday, July 6, at 8:15 a.m. The brothers were
arrested and booked on April 19. According to the Act of Violence
Report filed by Harold’s with the Arizona Department of Liquor,
the brothers allegedly assaulted Kevin Harris, a Cave Creek
dentist, in the men’s room of the restaurant and bar on April
1. As a result of the alleged assault, Dr. Harris reportedly
suffered facial scrapes and blood in his urine.
Dr.
Harris could not be reached for comment.
