Aah,
those phone books
Yes,
it bothers me big‑time. It has for years. But
please don’t throw them in the trash. In past years,
I’ve picked them up after two or three weeks and taken
them to recycling. There were many hundreds of them
there, if not thousands.
Well,
I will not take them there anymore. If I do pick them
up again, they will end up in front of their door.
Anybody with me?
Don’t
these people know by now that they are printing at
least three times as many books as need or want? If
this goes on all over the city and suburbs, maybe
the whole country, can we put a number on all the
trees that are wasted? Don’t these companies feel
any responsibility for what they are doing?
Please,
whatever you do, recycle.
