ANTHEM
– An old‑fashioned community Independence Day celebration
is planned for Anthem beginning at 5 p.m. July 3 in Anthem
Community Park, 3500 W. Anthem Way.
Activities
will include live music by the Doo Wah Riders, a popular
country band, an F‑16 jet flyover from Luke Air
Force Base, food concessions, a beer garden and lots of
kids attractions.
Three
will be an inflatable play area, water fun and kiddie
rides. There is a charge for entrance to the play areas.
Parking
and entrance to the park are free. Blankets and lawn chairs
are recommended.
A
huge fireworks show will climax the evening beginning

CAVE
CREEK – The Cave Creek Merchants Chamber of Commerce,
along with Harold’s Cave Creek Corral and Budweiser distributors,
will present an early Independence Day fireworks show
at sunset July 3 in the parking lot at 6895 E. Cave Creek
Road in Cave Creek.
Country
band Young Country will perform inside from 8:30 p.m.
to closing, and Easton Ashe will play outside from 7:30
to 11:30 p.m. The evening’s activities will also feature
an outside barbecue, drink specials and prizes.
FORT
MCDOWELL – Creedance Clearwater Revisited will headline
a Fourth of July concert at Ft. McDowell Casino at 8 p.m.
A huge fireworks show will follow the concert.

GLENDALE
– The 28th annual Glendale Hometown 4th of July Celebration
will take place at Glendale Community College. The evening’s
events will include multiple stages of entertainment,
family oriented picnic competitions, swimming, rides,
food, a kid’s area, and, of course, fireworks. Admission
is free and gates open at 6 p.m.

LAKE
PLEASANT – Mogollon and headliner Keith Anderson
will provide the entertainment beginning at 7 p.m. July
3 at Pleasant Harbor at Lake Pleasant. Kids activities
start at 4 p.m. A fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m.
Admission
is free for the concert and fireworks show. There is a
parking fee.
PEORIA
– The Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N. 83rd Ave. in Peoria,
will be the site of a huge Independence Day celebration
with two entertainment zones featuring rock and country
music, an F‑16 Fly‑over, a food zone, a Kids
Zone and a Water Zone guaranteed to wet you down.
Vendors
will line the main walkway offering a variety of goods
and services. Seating on the lawn is first come, first
serve.
Bring
your own lawn chairs, food and alcohol if you choose.
Glass containers, pets and canopies are not allowed.
Gates
open at 5 p.m. with a giant fireworks display beginning
at approximately 9:15 p.m. Admission is $5 for anyone

PHOENIX
– Light Up The Sky at Maryvale Ball Park, 3600 N. 51st
Ave. in Phoenix will begin
at 7 p.m. July 3.
Inside
the stadium visitors can enjoy free rides and games, craft
activities and carnival games.
On
the main field will be games, activities and free prizes.
Field 4 will have water slides, activities, a dee jay
and an open area for viewing the fireworks show beginning
at 9:30 p.m.
PHOENIX
– The 22nd annual Fabulous Phoenix Fourth begins at 6
p.m. at Steele Indian School Park, 300 E Indian School
Road in Phoenix.
The
huge celebration features one of the largest aerial fireworks
in the southwest, four entertainment stages with local
and national acts, a Kid’s World with carnival games and
rides, hands on activities, historic military vehicle
displays, and – it’s all free.

–The Prescott Rodeo Grounds will be the site of the 120th
Prescott Rodeo on July 4.

30 – July 2 and the Prescott Frontier Days 10k‑
and 2‑Mile Fun Run July 4.
PRESCOTT
VALLEY – Fireworks & Fun will begin at 7 p.m.
at Mountain Valley Park in Prescott Valley. Along with
the largest fireworks display in Yavapai County, the event
will feature all kinds of food and music before and after
the fireworks display. Admission is free.

SCOTTSDALE
– Scottsdale’s July 4th Family Barbecue is set for 5 p.m.
at the North Amphitheatre in Eldorado Park, 2311 N. Miller
Road in Scottsdale.
The
Eldorado swimming pool will be open until 7 p.m. Activities
include free hot dogs, a watermelon eating contest, potato
sack races, a tug‑o‑war competition, live
music and arts and crafts.

TEMPE
– The CBS 5 July 4th Tempe Town Lake Festival begins at
4 p.m. on the shores of Tempe Town Lake.
The
celebration features the SRP 55th annual Fireworks Spectacular,
a concert event stage, live music, inflatable kid’s ride
village, vendors, Arizona Republic Family Connection Section
Splash Zone with water fun and games for the entire family.
The
fireworks show will be shot from the Mill Avenue Bridge
and will be choreographed to patriotic and classical music.
Admission
is $8 or $15 for two. On‑site ticket sales will
stop when the park reaches capacity. Advance tickets are

WICKENBURG
– The annual Wickenburg Fourth of July Celebration starts
