Hey... Cubs win!
The High Desert Little League Cubs picked up the division
championship this month when their 15-1 record was the
best in the league. The Cubs advanced to the Tournament
of Champions, where they beat Cactus Foothills South
10-9 after trailing in the game 9-1. The season’s
run, however, came to an end with an 18-8 loss in the
next round. Team members included: Nick Affronti, Trevor
Bonifasi, Connor Eckloff, Joey Ferro, Patrick Haas,
Michael Herbert, Amanda Hilger, Trevor Miller, Tyler
Parks, Alex Poulos, Chad Spencer and Ryan Wiberg. Joe
Ferro managed the team with coaches Kevin Herbert and
Steve Eckloff..
