might not have been July 4th yet, but North Valley Stampede
shortstop Mikey Ciombor (blue jersey) nearly created
his own fireworks June 30 at Boulder Creek with this
slide attempt at home before being called out during
a club game against the Line Drives Lightning. Ciombor
and the Stampede will take a short holiday break before
returning July 6‑9 to host their own Pro‑9
Invitational at Boulder Creek.

Somebody call an exterminator. The Arizona Gym Rats
basketball team, featuring two players from Boulder
Creek High School, are back under the direction of coach
Matanda Doss. The team practices in Phoenix and plays
games in area tournaments several days each week...
