Town of Cave Creek Amateur Film Festival Winners

The Town of Cave Creek announced the winners of its three‑minute film competition on the theme of “A Day in the Life of Cave Creek” on Saturday, July 15. In each age category, first place winners received $1,000, second place $500, and third place $250. Honorable mentions also received a cash prize.

Age 12 & under

First place: Bethany Brown (12)

Second place: Jack Bennett (12) and Danielle Bennett (10)

(There were only two entries in this category.)

Ages 13 to 17

First place: Ryan Cordwell (15)

Second place: Howard “Bud” Bennett (17)

Third place: Nick Bennett (15)

Honorable mentions: Geoff Bohm (17), Alex Lazo (14) and Ty Artenian (16)

Age 18 & over

First place: Carol Bennett (“A Golden Morning”)

Second place: Mark Lipsky     

Third place: Chris Parkinson (“Explore Cave Creek”)

Honorable mention: Kyle Dayton
