Big
things at Little Dealer
New Deer Valley location expands RV products and service
by

DEER
VALLEY – RVs are big.
And
when you have a lot of them, like Roger Chamberlain
does, you need a big place to keep them. That’s why
Chamberlain, general manager of the new I‑17
and Deer Valley Road location of the well‑established
Phoenix‑area RV dealer Little Dealer, Little
Prices, is planning big things.
Little
Dealer, Little Prices opened in 1967 at its Mesa location.
In 1976 the family‑run business opened its second
location at I‑17 and Indian School Road in Phoenix
and since then RV enthusiasts in the North Valley
have relied on them for exceptional RV products and
service. But with the rapid growth along the northern
I‑17 corridor in recent years, Little Dealer,
Little Prices is gearing up to provide luxury RV services
with a huge new showroom and service center at their
Deer Valley location.
“From
Loop 101 north,” says Chamberlain, “it’s going gangbusters.
The whole area is really growing. They’re building
homes like crazy.”
Since
people like to purchase big ticket items locally–making
conscientious shopping decisions while assuring ease
with service and warranty
issues–Little Dealer, Little Prices is making its
presence known in a big way, so that, Chamberlain
says, “people don’t have to go all the way into town
to get their RVs,” they’ll be able to go to town right
here in the new Deer Valley showroom.
According
to Chamberlain, who has been with the company for
35 years, the new location, which is under construction,
will have a 25,000 square‑foot showroom and
21 service bays. When taking the outdoor display area
into consideration, the total area under roof will
come to about 70,000 square feet. Talk about big!
One
of the reasons for the scale of the new construction
is Little Dealer, Little Prices’ commitment to service.
With 21 service bays, Chamberlain says Little Dealer,
Little Prices “will be able to serve not only their
customers but the entire community. We should be
one of the biggest service centers in the Valley
of the Sun.”
The
personal integrity that drives Little Dealer, Little
Prices’ dedication to service is also reflected
in the quality and selection of products they sell.
Whether
you’re looking for a folding tent trailer, toy hauler,
travel trailer, fifth wheel or motor home, Little
Dealer, Little Prices offers a wide variety of brands
and floor plans to suit any need.

Top‑of‑the‑line
Jayco toy hauler and fifth wheel products are prominently
featured and, according to Chamberlain, a large selection
of Class C Jayco motor homes including the Seneca, a model
very popular now in California, will be available at the
new Deer Valley location.
Other
motor homes from Sunseeker and Flounder round out the bill
on the larger vehicles, but “injecting new energy into the
industry,” Chamberlain says, “and adding an audience we’ve
never seen before” is a big selection of smaller options–folding
trailers from Jayco including the Jay Series, Select, Baha
and Camo models. Or if that’s too little, try the Jay Flight,
the number one travel trailer on the road today, according
to Chamberlain.
All
these models and more are available at Little Dealer, Little
Prices, and in order to make room for new construction,
big savings can now be had in a storewide sale on a huge
selection of models. They’re even extending sale prices
to the Indian School and Mesa locations to celebrate the
addition of the Deer Valley location.
The
interior of the new Deer Valley store, set to be completed
next summer, will be designed on the model of the Mesa location:
Offices replicate an Old West town using Post Office, Livery
and General Store fronts while the showroom simulates a
nocturnal camping scene where about a dozen RVs are parked
among boulders, creeks, ponds, bridges in outdoor tableau,
all under a black, starry‑sky ceiling.
Just
follow the painted paw prints through the scene while listening
to the chirping of the birds on the sound system and you
get a little idea of what your RV adventure may hold. And
that’s because it’s not just vehicles Little Dealer, Little
Prices is selling, it’s good times. It’s family fun. And
it’s memories.
“RVs
are a great investment for the family,” Chamberlain says.
“It’s nice to get away from today’s busy world and just
decompress. An RV makes that easier. It provides a great
way to escape and spend some quality time with the kids.
“Experiencing
nature, families working and playing together, camping under
the stars,” he continues, “these are childhood memories that come with RVs. It’s important
for kids to have times like that to remember.”
And
a big deal like that is a little difficult to put a price
on.
