Deputy promoted

DESERT FOOTHILLS  – Lt. Barry Roska, the new Commander at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office substation for District 4 in Cave Creek, was promoted to Captain on Wednesday.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio promoted Roska in a ceremony at MCSO headquarters in Phoenix.

Roska has served with the Sheriff’s Office for more than 15 years. He came to the District 4 substation after working in MCSO’s Internal Affairs bureau. Roska worked as a patrol sergeant in Cave Creek from 1997‑1998.
