n
Ban private gates from in front of the soon‑to‑be‑built
Village at Surrey Hills condominiums.
The council unanimously agreed to only allow a gate separating
the west side of the property from an equestrian trail. The
45‑unit condo project is to be built at the corner of
Cave Creek Road and Surrey Drive, the location where the “Monopoly
Houses” once stood.
n
Accept the site plan for the Javelina Crossing office project
on the northeast corner of Cave Creek Road and E. Carriage Drive.
The three‑building complex is “campus style” and had some
changes made in the planning process to make the buildings blend
in with the desert landscape. The complex is a little more than
17,000 square feet.
n
Approve the site plan and preliminary plat for the Hidden Valley
Condominiums. The Habitat For Humanity‑owned project will
feature eight units, which were reduced in half from the original
plan. The condos will be built at the southwest corner of Blue
Ridge Drive and Ootam Road.
n
Agree to the preliminary plat for the Hidden Canyon subdivision,
located at the intersection of Ootam Road and Hohokam Place.
n
Accept the site plan review of the Parkway Office Building at
the northeast corner of Cave Creek and Schoolhouse roads.
