OBITUARY

Susan Hope Dowell, age 59, of New River, peacefully passed away on Aug. 25, 2006 of natural causes. Susan was a bartender for 15 years and then became a cement mason for Local Union #394 for two years. She was very active in her community. She was in the Parent Teachers Association, a home room mom, and a volunteer for 15 years and also a past president of Daisy Mountain Fire Department, serving three terms. She retired to become the greatest wife and mother and to be enjoyed her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Michael, and her father and mother, Martin and Mary Jane.

She is survived by her three sisters and their husbands: Marcia and Jim, Katie and Bobby, and Maggie and Jim, and her brother, James, and his wife, Linda. She also leaves her daughter Jessica; son Scott; grandson Zachary; many nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends. Please watch over us. We love and miss you and will see you soon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 1 at Advantage Colonial Mortuary, 4141 N. 19th Ave.
