I
thoroughly enjoy Pastor Huck’s articles on religion.
He is accomplishing exactly what is supposed to
happen and that is: allowing his readers to think.
I have formulated many new thoughts on religion
and redeveloped some old ones due to his take on
this important topic, even though many are in total
opposition to what I believe. Nevertheless, he has
challenged me, made me think and helped me to “evolve”
as well as “create” my belief system.
The
best part of reading Pastor Huck’s articles in The
Desert Advocate is that we Americans can all do
so. That is what freedom of religion is all about.
He is the perfect example of that in action. If
the only thing we got from Pastor Huck besides inflamed
egos and feelings was an exploration
of our personal belief system, than the readers
have benefitted.
