Results
are absolutely luminous, a complete non surgical facelift
Walk
through the door to J. Julian Fine Skin Care in Cave
Creek, and the first thing you notice are warm smiles
and glowing faces-faces that glow not just from the
exceptional skin care provided within, but with a sincere
interest that tells you that you matter.
Soft spoken owner Joann Julian practices what she calls
a holistic approach to skin care. "I try to find
out exactly what you are asking me to do, and then make
your skin look the way you want it to. I can customize
a treatment to fit anyone-for any age or lifestyle.
"We do beautiful, 'tricky,' cutting edge treatments
that make the skin absolutely luminous," she states.
"My specialty is a complete non surgical facelift,
for those who want to improve their appearance, but
do not want surgical remedies."
Anti aging and sun damage are Julian's main focus. And
now, to expand the options for her clients, Julian has
just joined with Dr. Marc Grant to provide Medi Spa
services, such as Botox and Restylane. As the spa's
medical director, Grant also performs skin healing treatments
for acne, sun damage and precancerous actinic keratosis
(AK).
"Technology has really improved in the last 10
years," says Grant. "There are things we can
do now that we could never do before-treatments with
no downtime. You can go back to work immediately afterwards."
Grant, a physician for 30 years, says. "This is
just another way, as a doctor, that I have chosen to
take care of people."
The non surgical facelift
Julian's premiere treatment for anti aging and sun damage
is a new photo energy system called Soli tone that combines
light energy with micronized currents. This entirely
natural modality using light energy from light emitting
diodes (LEDs) was developed by NASA when they discovered
that light energy promoted tissue healing and muscle
regeneration for astronauts on long flights, NASA's
Web site explains.
For those, like Julian, who have a keen interest in
using natural products and therapies, it is comforting
to know that the technique is FDA approved to be 100
percent safe with no side effects, such as redness or
peeling. Initial treatment fosters healing and rejuvenation
for months, Julian says, giving continued improvement
over time.
Julian has the only registered Soli tone facility in
the Northeast Valley to offer the relaxing, highly effective,
non invasive treatments, which give amazing results
similar to a surgical face lift.

Clients lie
on a comfortable table in a dimly lit room with soft music playing,
while Julian programs the corrective treatments into the computerized
LED machine. A wrap around light panel is positioned over the
face and colored lights, each selected to perform a specific beautifying
or corrective effect, glow over the skin for 20 to 30 minutes.
The pulsating light passes through the skin and stimulates cellular
rejuvenation from within. Different colors affect collagen growth,
tighten sagging facial muscles, and soften the appearance of wrinkles.
In addition, Julian massages an antioxidant lotion into the face
with two palm sized, microcurrent paddles, deeply hydrating the
skin, while the electrical currents tighten facial muscles.
Immediate
dramatic results
"Immediate results are quite dramatic," Julian claims,
"You will see younger looking skin, a reduction in fine lines
and wrinkles, increased elasticity, firmer facial contours and
a reduction in pore size, blemishes and irregular pigmentation."
Age, lifestyle and skin condition influence the number of treatments

are also effective on the neck, chest and hands.
