Employees of Swift Charities for Children load goods donated at the 7th Street and Carefree Highway drop site. Swift has elected to remove its donation box there due to continued trash dumping by those who disregard signs and discard a variety of junk, despite increased Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department surveillance.

“The additional signage really helped decrease the amount of trash we were collecting at the site, but unfortunately the trash just found its way in front of the two additional boxes (not belonging to Swift) that were not supposed to be on the site to begin with,” Swift spokesperson Amanda Smith said.
