Both
parties are missing the mark
As
I watch all the bickering between the Democrats and the Republicans,
it makes me wonder why we can’t have a political party that
is a mixture of both. There is no reason we cannot be strong
on defense and still have health care for all Americans. The
fact is that both parties are missing the mark when it comes
to representing working families who really need their leaders
to recognize problems at home as well as abroad.
Do
we need to fight terrorism? Absolutely. Should I need to be
an illegal alien or be employed by a large company to have
affordable health care? Absolutely not. How can I encourage
my 18‑year‑old to proudly serve in the U.S. military
when his government can’t stop its own citizens from losing
everything they have because they can’t pay for medical insurance?
If
our politicians don’t wise up soon, they may be facing a new
challenge–the Angry American Party.
