Administration dragging its feet on immigration
Regarding
The Desert Advocate’s Sept. 6 “Our View” editorial (“Congress,
Bush all show and no go on immigration reform”), just look to
the left at Pat Buchanan’s article regarding “the NAFTA superhighway.”
If viewers read that first, it all becomes crystal clear as
to why the Bush loonies are dragging their feet on controlling
illegal immigration.
Americans
do not have a fighting chance with regard to controlling this
invasion because our own president has signed away our “rights”
as a sovereign nation by way of this NAFTA treaty and building
a “North American union.”
I
have been so angered by this invasion of our country and how
it has changed this state dramatically. I no longer feel safe
in my own community, and it has affected our business, my children’s
education, our healthcare. The list goes on. But sadly, I can
see clearly now that it is futile to try and change this situation
when our elected officials are orchestrating a North American
union behind our backs. I wonder how much it will take to push
us into a civil war.
