Golf tourney to benefit church

The Knights of Columbus Council at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church is sponsoring its second annual golf outing and dinner Oct. 9. Proceeds of the event will go to the building fund for the new church on Cave Creek Road and Rancho Paloma.

Legend Trail Golf Club will be the site of the day’s festivities with a shot gun start at 12:30 p.m., with check‑in starting at 11 a.m. A round of golf and dinner starts at $125, with different levels of sponsorship available, with the dinner being served at Our Lady of Joy Social Hall on Pima and Cave Creek Road beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., and an auction will be held at 7:15 p.m. Dinner only will cost $25 with many raffles and silent/loud auction items up for bid.
