“We do not use particle board in our products,” Schevers notes. “They’re made out of ¾ inch MDF or medium density fiberboard. We’re the only manufacturer I know of in the industry that doesn’t use particle board.

MDF is made of wood fiber and has three times the density as particle board, Schevers notes, making the core material more stable, resistant to moisture, stronger and more durable. Other companies use ½ inch to ¾ inch particle board. While the other company’s use ½ millimeter edging on their doors, We Organize‑U uses 3 millimeter high impact pvc edges that are rounded on the edges as well as the corners, no sharp or square edges to catch or snag anything and guaranteed not to chip or peel. Durability is an important feature in We Organize‑U cabinets.

“Garage cabinets make up about 55 percent of our business,” Schevers says. “We install shelf stiffeners and backs on all of our cabinets. You don’t have to use your garage wall for a back. We also do custom closets. We offer free design consultation and installation with our packages.

“We take a very unique approach,” Schevers says. “Our designer uses a laptop computer that can produce three‑dimensional designs and drawings in the house while the client watches. You see exactly what you’re getting.”

In addition to the superior construction features, We Organize‑U cabinets come in a variety of wood grains and solids.

“We have a choice of five different wood grains,” Schevers says. “And we have our almond and white finishes. Our newest finish is a brushed stainless. Right now, it’s our most popular. It’s a very contemporary commercial‑grade look. And, it’s easy to clean and looks great in the garage; we’ve also used it in offices. There are tons of accessories, too.

The newest trend in hardware is the oiled rubbed‑bronze look. We have a full line of knobs, handles, pull‑out baskets, wine racks, tie and belt racks ranging in all finishes for your closet, pantry or kids room.
