Veterans
seeking sponsors for Veteran’s Day parade and picnic
Staff
reports
ANTHEM
– Daisy Mountain Veterans are currently looking for North
Valley businesses and
organizations to participate in the Daisy Mountain Veteran’s
Day Parade and Family Picnic.
“
Our Veteran’s Day Parade and Family Picnic are possible
only through the cooperation of partners, performers, marchers,
volunteers, and most important, our financial sponsors,”
said DMV Legionnaire Richard McCarty, in a news release.
The
Desert Advocate is one of the sponsors of the event, which
commemorates the date known as Armistice Day, signifying
the end of World War I on the 11th hour of the 11th day
of the 11th month in 1918.
“Sponsors
receive high return on their investment ... added good will
among customers and recognition
among prospective customers,” McCarty said.
Sponsorships
start at $200.
