Oct. 20 – Sonoran Arts League’s sponsors “Empty Bowls” fundraiser for Foothills Foodbank and Resource Center, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Carefree Town Center.

Oct. 21 – ProMusica Arizona Orchestra “Back to the Movies” concert at Desert View Bible Church, 6 p.m.

November

Nov. 2‑5, 10‑12, 17‑19 – Desert Foothills Theater presents “Grand Night for Singing” at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center.

Nov. 3 – Sonoran Arts League’s “Hidden in the Hills Studio Tour” preview event at the Desert Broom Library.

Nov. 3‑4, 9‑11 – Starlight Community Youth Theater presents “The Wiz” at Boulder Creek High School Performing Arts Center.

Nov. 11 – AZDance Group and ProMusica Arizona Chorale both perform for Veteran’s Day at the Anthem Community Park Gazebo following the parade.

Nov.14 – Foothills Community Foundation’s  MindQuest Lecture Series presents Sue Clark‑Johnson speaking on “The Influence of the Internet in the Spread of Information” at Legend Trail Community Center, 7 p.m.

Nov. 17‑19, 24‑26 – Sonoran Arts League’s “Hidden in the Hills Studio Tour.”

Nov. 18, 20‑21 – Starlight Community Theater auditions for “High School Musical.”

Nov. 20 – Foothills Community Foundation’s Foothills Film Society presents the unconventional Italian/Swiss romantic film “Bread and Tulips” at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center, 7 p.m.

Nov. 30 – AZDance Group’s “Christmas Dance Concert,”  Boulder Creek High School Performing Arts Center, 7 p.m.
