DESERT FOOTHILLS – Desert Mountain School is holding its fall carnival “Boo Bash” on Oct. 20.

The carnival will be held from 6‑9 p.m. on the school grounds on 7th Avenue just north of Carefree Highway. The entire community is invited for a fun and frightful evening.

The event will feature several activities including a haunted hospital, werewolf maze, fear factory, giant slide, 20‑foot rock climbing wall, and a carnival midway with games, according to a school press release. On sale will be Ali’s Cuban sandwiches, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn and more items.

Proceeds from the event will help purchase new computers for the classrooms.
