Carmen Ella Lathrop gets a kiss from “Mystical Luv,” an Arabian horse in this 2003 photo. This year, the Arabian Horse Family Expo will be held from 11:30 a.m.‑4 p.m. on Oct. 29 at Horse Lovers Park. The event will provide families an opportunity to learn about Arabian horses through a variety of demonstrations, hands‑on activities, contests and games. Horse Lovers Park is located on North Tatum Boulevard 1.4 miles north of Bell Road, just north of the Central Arizona Project Canal and just south of Highway 101.
