Obituary

Lawrence Lee Steinegger, 69, of Camp Creek, passed away on Oct. 20, 2006. Best known as Larry, the Arizona native was an active member of the community, involved in many different projects from drag racing, horse racing and animal breeding, to 4‑H and competitive trail riding. 

Larry is preceded in death by his mother and father, Mabel and William F. Steinegger. He is survived by his brother, William F. Steinegger; Elaine, his wife of 50 years; his four children, son Jamie Steinegger and wife Laura, and daughters Linda and her husband David Foster, Carolyn and her husband Paul VanderMale, and Noel and her husband Jeremy  Pudenz. He was the proud grandfather of six adorable grandchildren: Jackie, Rebecca, Joshua, Kyle, Kristen and Ainsley. 

He has touched the lives of many and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 28 at Scottsdale Bible Church, 7901 E. Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale. The family requests that a donation in lieu of flowers be made to the Foothills Animal Rescue at www.foothillsanimal.org.
