Depot to hold “Safety
Day”
VALLEY
– The Home Depot
store at 4925 E.
Carefree Highway
will hold a “Community
Safety Day” from
9 a.m.‑12
noon on Nov. 4.
Local
fire fighters and
police officers
will be present
to answer questions
and conduct workshops
on safety. Attendees
can also have their
vehicle’s identification
number (VIN) etched
into their windshield
for free and receive
a complimentary
steering wheel lock
(while supplies
last). For kids,
Home Depot will
conduct a workshop
featuring several
safety projects.

invited to attend
“Rock‑A‑Rama,”
a gem and mineral
show to be held
from 9 a.m. to 4
p.m. on Nov. 3‑
5.
The
gem and mineral
show takes place
at Albins Civic
Center on K‑Mine
Road, and includes
arts and crafts,
along with a jewelry
sale. Food will
also be available.

are free. The show
is sponsored by
the Braggin Rock
