– An aviation
group that

bring a vintage

II aircraft
to the Phoenix
Deer Valley
Airport said
the visit
has been rescheduled
for Nov. 25.
The
Experimental
Aircraft Association,
citing unspecified
mechanical
problems,
announced
on their Web
site that
once repaired,
they will
bring “Aluminum
Overcast,”
a B‑17
bomber, to
the airport
for ground
tours and
flights. The
event was
slated for
Nov. 18‑19.

of new lodges

Volunteer
group to accepting
grant applications
VALLEY—The
Arizona Women’s
Partnership,
which benefits
organizations
that assist
under‑served
women and
children at
risk, is accepting
applications
for its 2007
grants.
Since
its formation
in 2003, the
organization
has awarded
$70,000 in
grants to
local charities.
The grant
awards range
from $500
to $2,000.
Applicants
must be: a
registered
non‑profit
group, have
a total operating
budget of
under $200,000,
be non‑sectarian,
and in good
financial
standing.
The
grant application
is due by
Jan. 31 For

total grant
money available
is raised
through the
