Bank celebrates opening of new Cave Creek office
CAVE
CREEK – Wisconsin‑based M&I Bank announced
last week it will celebrate the opening of its
new Cave Creek location at 9 a.m. on Dec. 1.
During
the ceremony, the bank will present a donation
to the Foothills Food Bank and Resource Center,
according to a news release from the company.
In
addition, M&I will donate $10, to a total
of $700, to the food bank for every person who
attends the event.
The
new M&I is a full‑service location
with ATM services, a drive‑thru, safe
deposit boxes, personal bankers, financial advisors,
mortgage specialists, and business bankers.
Jackie Jobe will serve as the branch manager.
The new office is located at 4623 East Carefree
Highway.
Pinnacle
Peak Country Club celebrates 30 years
SCOTTSDALE
– Pinnacle Peak Country Club, the first private
club in the area, announced
it is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Located
at 8701 E. Pinnacle Peak Road in Scottsdale,
the club was built in 1976. Pinnacle Peak Country
Club recently underwent a $5 million renovation,
according to a news release from the club. The
club includes a par‑72, 7,030‑yard
championship golf course with 5 different sets
of
tees.
LeTip
International launches new chapter in Anthem
ANTHEM
– LeTip International, Inc., a business networking
organization, announced it will open a new chapter,
Anthem Professionals.
The
chapter will meet every Friday starting Dec.
1 at 7 a.m. at the Anthem Community Center.
“The
program emphasizes building relationships, creating
alliances and developing public speaking skills,
all of which empower members and help create
an environment for business success,” according
to a news release from the organization.

New
tenants for Norterra announced
VALLEY
– Developers of The Shops at Norterra announced
last week the names of 15 retailers and restaurants
scheduled to open for business at the new 350,000‑square‑foot
shopping center.
Among
the new tenants are two businesses that are
new to Arizona–
Dick’s Sporting Goods and Bravo! Cucina Italiana,
according to a news release from Scottsdale‑based
RED Development, one of the developers. Texas‑based
USAA Real Estate Company is the other developer.
The
announcements were made during the shopping
center’s official groundbreaking ceremony at
the project site, located at the northeast corner
of Interstate 17
and Happy Valley Road in North Phoenix.
The
other tenants include: Best Buy; the previously
announced Harkins Theatre; White House/Black
Market; Chico’s; Coldwater Creek; Francesca’s
Collections; American Eagle; Buckle; PacSun;
Journeys; Chipotle; Johnny Rockets; Paradise
Bakery & Café and Jamba Juice.
More
eateries will be announced in the coming months.
The stores and restaurants will open in fall
2007.
