Road Restriction - Cave Creek Road will be restricted for repaving at Deer Valley Road Dec. 4‑8, according to Sina Matthes, spokeswoman for the city of Phoenix transportation. Cave Creek Road will be reduced to two lanes, one in each direction.

Runners and walkers on Saturday took part in the Fourth Annual Desert Advocate Luminaria Run to benefit the Black Mountain Elementary School PTO. The route was lined with Luminaria that remained lit throughout the night.
