Fundraiser
to help Anthem family cope
Anthem residents and organizations have initiated fundraising efforts
to help the William Simpkin family with funeral and related expenses:
Michael Gregoire, an Anthem resident and Deer Valley Unified School
District governing board vice president, will donate half of the
proceeds from his annual online pool for the NCAA Tournament to
We Care in Anthem which will work with the family's church to assist
the family.
We Care in Anthem has also opened a donation account through Wells
Fargo Bank. Donations can also be made online through PayPal. The

Proceeds from the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament held during Anthem
Days April 8 9 will go to We Care and in turn be donated to the
