CAVE CREEK - Registration for the Cave Creek/Carefree Youth Football & Cheer season is fast approaching. Interested players and cheerleaders must register from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 8 at the Sonoran Trails Middle School cafeteria.

Programs offered are tackle football for ages 7 14, flag football for those 6 8 and cheerleading for 5 14 year olds.

Practice for the season will begin in mid August.

For tackle football, registration cost $125, while flag football is $75. The cost for cheer is $100.

Each program will also have an "association fee" due Sept. 1. To register, each participant must bring the registration fee, an original and copy of his/her certified birth certificate, and a utility bill as proof of residence.
